I always burn at lowest possible speed with good media; makes better quality burns. I've used Nero to burn DVD images at least 100 times in the last year. the once secondary (now primary) failed the same way. Anyway I'll try to disable IMAPI service and go back to full speed again. it worked :) Was using ImgBurn, good quality DVD and a built in Dell writer.
I don't know what you're using.You won't get a refund until you address it with tech support. You should never actually need to run a speed test, becuase the software will never let you burn higher than when the media is rated at anyway.//And also this post is vice versa. The code [3 73 03] was reported to it by the DVD drive. Sounds as you got DMA issue.Try this:Main menu -> Tools -> Reset DMA... Does this mean anything?
