When I then shut down all unnecessary programs and try burning CDs, I have no trouble at all, even on my low-spec machine. I then tried using a straw but still no luck. Disabling the Imapi service + blowing hard into the burner helped to burn Cd s on my DVD burner again. Failed at 4x Burn Speed and it's a 16x SATA SONY NEC Optiarc drive.
