Clean the drive with a cleaning disk, or gently blow it with canned air to clean the dusty laser lens. 4. It only will burn in 2.4x to begin with, and when I try to select 1x it goes right back to 2.4 - using ImgBurn or Nero.

Instead of MAX speed for recording - which I assumed the software would know was 4X - I CHOSE 4X. Thank you!!! Ontop of that it's been the same version of Nero. I bought a brand new i/o magic dual format dual layer 16x burner. Nobody uses these methods.
