Run the file, this file is going to attempt to do the same spooler commands you were doing.. If that has happened, you won't have much luck trying to fix the problem short of running a system file check to repair/replace any damaged system files.

As well I went into control panel and started the print spooler and the printers return on the control panel - but only for a moment. In Win 8 I have to choose "Command Prompt (Admin)' from the dropdown choices. The installation was smooth and trouble-free. I couldn't get that folder to open so I could delete any of it's contents.
