I did some digging and found a post that had me looking for the HP Standard TCP/IP monitor located in the registry. To do this, you should click onto the HP downloads website, and download the driver for your system. I did the unplug the HP 1020's usb connection trick to make the printers show up, deleted the old driver, and installed a new driver from HP.
- Join our community for more solutions or to ask questions.
- We learned early on that you could avoid it by printing to a network printer but some locations are remote and don't have access to a shared printer.
- Does anyone have any insight into this?
- It may be necessary to remove all printer drivers before advancing (though I did not have to go that far).
- Never be called into a meeting just to get it started again.
- Contacting HP about it is only met with ear-deafening silence.
- If necessary (in case you have removed all other drivers), install any other drivers you require.

Probably you only need to do one of these two things, but I haven't taken the time to test which is the actual fix. I am now afraid that everytime I try to print a scanned PDF, I will have to rerun the utility...go to HP website, located it again etc etc. They didn't match so I went with deleting the key on the defective system and was able to get the printer installed without any further failures in the printer spooler. have a peek at these guys Sponsor Links Home About F.A.Q.
Despite taking steps suggested by those contributing to the forum, I have not been able to resolve this issue, which is a shame considering our business purchased many of these printers I then tried printing the email attachment again and immediately had the same problem.I started searching again for solutions and came across this string. I had also compared the registry key to another computer I had installed the printer to on the same day. Once I reinstalled the printer, I made these changes.
