- Just one day when I tried printing the error popped up printer not installed; well that was ridiculous, this just could not be.

Select the Log On tab, and uncheck the Allow service to interact with desktop setting. (Microsoft recommends that you do not change the Allow service to interact with desktop setting. I mean I downloaded a new spoolsv.exe and spoolss.dll and replaced them with the old ones but still no success... I've done repair install with same results. If you allow the service to interact with the desktop, any information that the service displays on the desktop will also be displayed on an interactive user's desktop.
