This confuses the sensor and signals jams.The solenoid is located on the right side at the lower front of the printer. sometimes the torsion spring gets bent out of shape. And how can we get it out?We have removed the paper trays and examined them. nice work folks.

  4. Looked at the fuser and there it was, RM1-1082 on the label of the fuser.

I cleaned them all with alcohol and re-assembled but no good. It held the flag up, and thus the mysterious "error 13.20" So, it is not always the feed assy flag.

Ho hum.Before I saw your replies I drove 150 miles yesterday to collect two sensors (PS101 and PS107) in the hope that they would be the same throughout the unit. Help. If the fuser does not click into place you run the risk of wearing out both the fuser and the gears that drive the fuser prematurely. Behind tray 1 is a roller assembly which feeds the paper from the lower tray.
