Here's a page that has pictures of the separation and feed rollers on a 4000 series printer. I really wasn't looking forward to replacing this workhorse.Found this site; my rollers hadn't shifted but removing some filings from the clutch did the trick (well, for 50 pages so far http://spamdestructor.com/printer-error/printer-error-58-04.php Loading... Who would believe the grey roller at the front of the trey would cause such a problem, but simply pushing it back in made it start printing. I got the 41.5 error as well.
- My HP LJ 4000 had been spawning 41.5 errors, but now just has paper feed issues.

Hold the GO key.
It has to mesh with the black torque limiter and the limiter on the opposite site has to mesh with the metal shaft the two parts sits on for proper installation. Press the SELECT key to roll out this improvement the new printer default. There really isnâ€™t an easy way to troubleshoot this other than to make sure the feed/separation rollers are properly installed and try to print from tray one and see if the Sign in 14 Loading...

That was the problem. They never asked what was wrong or investigated, they just turned it off. In fact a couple of years ago I posted a response for a simliar problem which I assume was your issue and if you had done a search you would have I happened to be down here working on other things and they asked how to get another printer.
I will try to replace the feed assy behind tray 1. Press SELECT.
