Printer Error 54.2
I do like to watch it no matter what I'm printing, just in case. Is the caroussel actually truning? But now after putting it back together it will not run off of the network. But still get the 54.2 error.
Remove the print cartridges when the carousel is in position for removal of the print cartridge.5. I cleaned the twin eye sensor held by the one screw, removed the brake, installed one toner cart then all of them, and it still comes up 54.2I wonder why resetting Does it come to the message to install the cartridges or do you get the error.
- If I do get the error then it's a pain to hafta do the whole warmup routine again.If anyone else knows something else I can try that would be great. -m

Ok, I have 5 of these printers in my offices and here's what I do when this happens.... Cleaned out excess toner tray. Newer printers are made for earlier replacement of the expendable kits, ink cartridges, and fusers for profit are they are used up as pages are printed. If the error occurs with no cartridges installed, remove the top cover, press the brake in, and turn the printer on. Anyways, the problem in my case was in Carousel drive assembly.
