Good advice on the drive speed...will look into at 10k rpm drive. Now by format do you mean just back up all my sessions, delete all my sessions, then put them all back on the drive? I had to spend hours fixing the audio, and re-recording audio files that had literally "disappeared". Some swear that they would never trust the Windows defrag routine and some say they've been using it for years without any trouble.
